Bill just a word of caution when using external calibration tones on your DC-1 (and I apologise if I am "teaching my grandmother to s**k eggs" here). Make sure that you have the volume set to 0dB on the DC-1 and that you have the correct effect selected - when you use the internal tones the DC-1 does this automatically. Also if you are using a 7.1 system then you have to use the internal tones to calibrate the rear speakers.
