Ventilation fans suggestions

Radioshack has neet little squirrel cage fans which I run at a reduced voltage(6vdc with a wall pwr adptr). I hang 4 of them behind the equipment rack with o-rings to isolate vibration coupling. As I face the front of my equipment I can feel plenty of air blowing at me. However, it is not audible at all. This has reduced an overtemp condition to stone cold!!
