wiring Q: zone 2 audio & video max. distance?

Using Mozilla/4.6 [en] (Win95; I):

I'm setting up my house for a second zone (planning on purchasing a Yamaha RXV2095) and using my old Sansui amp for the second zone. How far a distance can I drive the audio & video signals from zone 1 (the Yamaha) to zone 2 (the Sansui)? It's looking like about 80 ft or so up through the walls & through the attic - any suggestions on what cable to use? Do I need an amp for the video signal? I'd just try it & see, but I'd prefer not to waste money on wiring that might not be what I need.
