Personally, I really like the PSB Century 400i, but they're largeish for bookshelf speakers... I thought they sounded as good as speakers 2X the money.

For the record, I spent 2.5x the money and bought the Dynaudios. Blew the budget and the S.A.F. (Spouse approval factor) but my ears thank me all the time!
