Klipsch Subwoofer.

2 questions-- My KSW200 12 inch klipsch sub has gotten cracks at the feet, and its about a week old, and that it making the wood open at the seams. Also, i am not very pleased with the performance at high volume levels-- could i buy a really good car sub, and load it in there if it fits fine? I tried it with a pioneer IMPP car sub, and wow it was better, but it wouldnt fit right, so i need to make sure it would be alright. I am guessing a sub driver is 4 ohms, becaude it combined the L and R channels as one, correct me if wrong.
