PSB Stratus Bronze woofers...

Hi all,

I'm very close to getting a pair of PSB Stratus Bronze speakers.

I've listened to B&Ws, Energys, NHTs, Mirages, Paradigms, and Tannoys. I think the next runners up would be the Energy C-6s and the Paradigm Studio 60s.

However, I've been told by one salesman to look out for aluminum die-cast woofer frames. Supposedly, they eliminate much of the reverb from the woofer more so than stamped metal frames.

Aluminum die-cast frames are stronger, so thinner supports can be used in the driver.

Does anyone know about the PSB Stratus Bronze series? Do they have aluminum frames?
