Tannoy Mercury M2 and M3

I'm looking for a good mid class speakers to run on H/K AVR65. Based on listening tests and comments from this and other forums I found boxes I like - Tannoy Mercury M2. I plan to buy M3 for front L/R channel, M2 (for surround L/R) and mC (center). Unfortunately, my local Tannoy dealer only had M2. M3 and new shippment of M2.5 (replacements for M2) will arive next week. I liked M2, but I can't get them anymore - they're sold out (I listened to the last (demo) pair). My dealer said M2.5 are esentially the same as M2 (few minor improvements). M2.5 are cheaper than M2 so I'm afraid of those "improvements". Also, I did not listen M3 and would like to hear other people opinions.
I read excelent M4 review by John R Potis Jr and I secretly hope M3 has simmilar sound quality.
