: I have to say that I've had a little (very little) experience with setting up a home theater. My problem is what to do about the speakers. You see I don't want to go "all-out" and get very expensive speakers right away. I would like to spend a maximum of about $1500 to start. In the future, I would like to get better speakers, but I don't want the speakers I buy now to go to waste. I have a Yamaha RX-V2092 receiver.

:
: I am thinking about getting 4 NHT SuperOnes to start. Does anyone have any opinions about using them as satellites? I hoping that I'll be able to keep a pair as rear speakers, when I decide to upgrade and get better speakers for the front.

: Also, I do need help with choosing a subwoofer and a center speaker. I was thinking of a M&K VX-7 Mark II as the sub.

: Any opinions are highly appreciated.

Try either the Energy Take 5 system w/ sub for $800 or Def Tech Entry level system w/ sub for about $1300. Also, Klipsh makes a cool little setup that runs about $1000. Good luck.
