It's a scam. I know someone who used to work for the company that sells them under the guise of being extra on the truck. They go out every day with a van load of "extras" and an invoice (which is highly illegial, the fake invoice), showing the mistake the warehouse made.
They search generally for guys, without girlfriends (harder sell), everywhere! These speakers are so bad he said that the woofer would sometimes fall out on presentation. Stay away it is a scam to steal your cash. They would try and sell the speakers for as much as possible. I heard stories of them selling for $700 or more a pair. Anything over $200, he gets to keep.
