NHT VT1's.... I'm not sure what you mean by "lisping vocals when (the receiver is) set flat". If that means it sounds weird when the bass and treble controls are at "0" then the receiver could be acting funky on you. We've had good experiences with the current generation Denon gear, and it should be a synergistic match for your speaker system. : I have a pre ProLogic Denon Recv'r, DRA625, 70 Watts to two channels. : I plan to upgrade before year end to a Denon AVR 2400. : I noticed a definate lisping to the vocals on audio or video settings when dead flat. : Are the NHT's exposing a flaw in my older recv'r?
