Kenwood Sub - 1050 - I'm Impressed

Some good and bad were posted about the Kenwood 1050 150 watt powered subwoofer on this forum, and I wanted to inform everyone that I just purchased one, and am acutally very pleased at the performance I got for the price.

Granted, I'm no audiophile, but for my basic need for movie theater rumble on Dolby Digital soundtracks, it fills the bill nicely. It also performs well on music too.

It's also the first time I got my Dolby Digital set-up as well with my new DVD player, so maybe I'm just caught up in the dramatic change between Pro Logic and Digital. But man, does this unit put out on the explosions, punches, etc.

So, for those of you looking for a sub-$300 unit that gives you the big theater sound and not too worried about the specs, you might want to check this out.
