Need help with MK V-125THX sub input...

Posted by Mark Sung [IP: 171.208.130.131] on December 30, 1998 at 00:19:47:

I recently purchased a MK V-125THX subwoofer. My setup is as follows, NHT SuperOnes for LCR, and SuperZeros for surrounds. I'm driving them with a HK AVR65.

Now, my problem is that the HK receiver will send LFE below 100Hz to the subwoofer output. BUT, the subwoofer has a low pass filter @ 80Hz. The specs on the sub says that it has a frequency response from 20Hz to 125Hz. How do I get my sub to respond to the frequencies in the 80Hz to 100Hz range?

Thanks
