: I have a pair of OVTR3 speakers for my main spkrs and am looking to add the OVTR1's for the rears. I have been given conflicting reccomendations for the center speaker, either another OVTR1 or a CC3 which basically is a OVTR1 w/o the powered sub. Do I need/want the powered sub on a center channel? Thanks for any advice or opinion.

Buy Them both at Circuit City and find out which one you like the most
(If you use the Overture 1 as center put Large in your Receivers Menu to take advantage of the Sub-Woofer) and take them both back ASAP. Then order the one you though was better at www.cyberteria.com

I have the Overture 1-CC($345) as my Center Speaker and like it along with the Overture 3's($1,500).
The Overture 1-CC is the same thing as a Ove.1 but with a Mini-Stand (Allows you to raise the Speaker up or Down) to go under the Speaker and also has a Different Cover (Has the Infinity Logo in the mddle) which looks better for Center Use.

Hope it helps,
Mark Pollard
