NHT S1s or Paradigm Titans

For a beginner's HT I am kind of torn between NHT S1's and Paradigm Titans. I have a dealer who deals in both but is not willing to let me change them if I like the 'other' set.

Both sound equally good and are priced closely.

Any suggestions?
