My advice would be to be careful. If you don't see any colour distortion now you should be OK, but watch out for it over the next few weeks. John is correct, sometimes TVs which are "all bent out of shape" will correct themselves, but sometimes they do not. I know of a few TVs permanently damaged. Some have a de-gauss system which flexes the invar mask back into position on start-up, Mitsubishi claim theirs counters the effects of the Earth's magnetic field!
