Really depends on what your intentions are. The ideal setup would be to use another pair of 602s. They would be too large and too expensive for most people looking at a system in this price range. B&W recommends using 601s.

I personally couldn't afford to get 601s to match my 602s and CC6, so I went with another brand all together. My surrounds are Infinity RS1s that I got for half price. The RS1s cost me $90 for the pair whereas the B&W 601s would have run me about $370. For front speakers I definitely would not have mixed them up, but since the surround sound information is so limited (even with dolby digital), and the speaker placement is so far apart, I think the money would be better spent elsewhere in the system. Maybe saving some bucks on your surrounds could let you trade your 602s for 603s or make a downpayment on a decent subwoofer...

Just my thoughts. I use my system 70% home theater, 30% music, with a passive subwoofer connected in with the 602s. Input sources are: satellite TV system, VCR, DVD player, and a 25 disc CD changer. My receiver is a Sony STR-DE915, which I'm reasonably satisfied with.
