As Alan mentioned I have 5 Sapphire IIIs and a pair of Jaguars in my system so I've got plenty of experience with both.

If you can build the Jaguars cabinets (and build them well of course) you should go with the Jags. The Sapphires are great speakers but the Jaguars are better yet in most ways. They have better bass, cleaner and can play louder than the Sapphires. About the only downside to the Jags. as compared to the Sapphires is they aren't as efficent so you need more power to run them.
