4ohm speakers with 8ohm reciever

I have similar, if not worse, problem with Atran. My Technics AV710 is now driving 2-4 Ohm Front, 1-4 Ohm Center, and 2-4 Ohm Surround speakers. Technics' manual says that 4 Ohm Front is OK, but stated only 8-16 Ohm for Surround and/or Center. Anybody can help me whether the above will create a mess to my home theater system or not. Since the speakers are quite expensive what would be the best workaround to avoid disaster in my system.
