Is that CDN$700 plus 8% PST and 7% GST? If yes, that price is basically the Canadian suggested list price. From a good authorized dealer, you should be able to knock at least 15-20% off (maybe even more for multiple speakers). A few months ago, I bought Paradigm Reference Studio/20 in B.C. for CDN$575/pair plus 14% in taxes. This model lists for the same as the Monitor 7, CDN$700. Two other dealers were willing to sell the same model for CDN$600.
