I think it is a great idea. Circuit City has new and display models of the RT 3. I saw a pair of display models for $79 each. I have the Yamaha RXV 2095 and my effect speakers are the in wall type. I have Polk RT 5 for my main speakers and the CS 400 as center. I don't think it is critical to match the effect speakers to your mains or center much like the rear speakers. I read about this subject in Home Theater Magazine but I don't recall the issue date.

: Hi,
: I'm considering to purchase Polk Audio's RT-3 as my Yamaha DSP-A1's front effect speakers, my set of speakers are as follows:
: Main Front: RT-1000p
: Center: CS350
: Surround: LS f/x
: All are Polk Audio's speakers.

: System usage: 80% movie and 20% music.

: So, what do you guys think? Any feed back would be very much appreciated.

: Rheuter
