Receiver for Energy Take 5

I looking into buying the Energy Take 5 speaker with a ES-8 sub. I need a good receiver that has Dolby & DTS to go with it. I had looked into buying the Harmon Kardon AVR65, but have heard that it has an audible hum(true??), well anyways, now I'm all confused, heard that the Sonys overheat and autoshut off.

I would like to hear from anyone out there on what would be a good receiver to get.
