Speakers suitable for digital surround?

Paul,

If you have the physical room to properly place them, there's no reason they can't be used as surrounds. My only other concern would be sensitivity/load characteristics of the speakers/power capability of your receiver: if those speakers are inefficient or present a difficult load, the receiver may have trouble keeping up. I'm not familiar with the Audiospheres, so I can't specifically comment.

I'm using towers for surrounds, and am quite happy with the results. Definitely an improvement over smaller satellites in my listening environment.
