need help picking out Energy speakers

I am looking to put together a home theater/music setup. For the receiver, I'm pretty sure I'm buying the HK AVR65. For the speakers, I was looking at Energy's Take 5 (have listened to) or their e:xl series. (have not listened to yet) The room size is 18 x 20 with a cathedral ceiling that peaks at 12 feet. I will be using this system for music 70% & home theater 30%. I don't listen to music very loud.

If I choose the Energy Take 5 system:

1. Will this be adequate for the room size?
2. What size sub would be best? The 8", 10", 12", or (2) 8's?
I don't want it to be too "boomy".

If I choose the e:xl components:

1. Would it be better to get the e:xl 16's for both the front & rear to keep it uniform or use their e:xlr's for the rears?

2. Same sub question as above.

Any information that I might have overlooked, especially from anyone who has these speakers, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jimmey
