I have owned a pair of Klipsch speakers for about 4 years now. I really liked that at first. After installing carpet in my home, the bass didn't seem to be as good as it used to be. So I decided to use the optional spikes. After starting to screw in the optional spikes, the wood on the bottom of my speakers started cracking instantly...I stopped immediately and decided to not use the spikes. My speakers sounded like total crap now. I gave klipsch a call and they seemed very concerned. They called me back and said that they would come pick up my speakers (I live in the middle of nowhere), but only after they called me back with an RA#. It has been two months now and they still haven't returned my phone calls. I call repeatedly and leave messages, but they NEVER call me back. My Klipsch are still under the manufacture's warranty. Bottom Line -Do not buy Klipsch Products. Some of you may disagree, but this is my opinion based on the service that I have recieved. -Mozz
