By comparison the Yamaha YST-SW300 and '150 both carry a suggested retail price of $400 USD and is discounted at least some and often quite a bit depending on the local market.

Although I was going to say that all prices inflate when the products cross the Atlantic, $500 for the Mission is about right, at today's rate of exchange that works out to about £292. The Yamaha is much better value though, $400 is only £234.
