Acoustic Research 312HO & P315HO?

I've read some magazine reviews of both systems but would like to hear some completely unbiased opinions on these two speakers. Or even the 310HO which is similar. According to the magazines any speaker over $500 a pair sounds "full, rich and images well" which I know is not always true. They will be used for music and HT. Due to travel limitations I will have to buy them before hearing them (I would prefer to not have to send them back). I'm using a Yamaha rx-v992 for my reciever and will be looking into center and surrounds after I've settled on the mains. Any input would be very helpful. Thanks a ton in advance.
