Thanks for the reply - I have a few more questions

: Multiple filtering is a bad idea, as you've already learnt. The crossover in the Lexicon together with the crossover in the Titan will interact to a certain degree and you're probably introducing just as much distortion as you save by not using a single, higher (80Hz) crossover.

Yeah, that's what I heard. But since the Titan's x-over is not defeatable, even using the 80 Hz HPF in the CP3+ and the sub line-out, I am still introducing multiple filtering, as I would then have the sub x-over set at the max (150 Hz)

: Therefore I'm going to suggest another option. Turn the sub-woofer off within the Lexicon and run your front left and right 'speakers full-range. Hook the Titan up via the high-level outputs of your amplifiers and get a high-pass filter from ACI at the value you want, about 50-60Hz. Drop Mike Dzurko a line and he'll supply you with the filter - minimal cost.

I am a little confused - does this mean sharing (splitting) the main front and left amp outputs between the front speakers and the sub? So, the filter would allow frequencies below 50-60 Hz to reach the sub, but then what about the sub x-over? What should it be set to? Jeez, this is confusing.
