Need Center Speaker -- Have Cerwin Vegas

Greetings, I am in the market for a center channel speaker for my modest home theater setup (my home is a fairly small apartment at the moment -- but want something that will be satisfying in a future dedicated room in a house, if I can do so without sacrificing present sound too much due to lack of tonal-matching). I have Cerwin-Vega D-3's as my front R&L. While I anticipate upgrading these in the future, I am satisfied with them for my present circumstances. I have read elsewhere on this board that Klipsch is perhaps the most timbre-similar of other brands to CV's, but I would anticipate getting into something like Boston Acoustics in the future. So my question is this -- would a Boston Acoustics center speaker ruin the HT experience with my current speakers? Would a Klipsch be the way to go? Or maybe even just a CV? I know these are some pretty subjective decisions, but any advice, general or specific, you can give would be appreciated! (BTW, I am waiting on a Yamaha RX-V795 to upgrade my present Pioneer VSX-5000 and have very meek Infinity SS-2001's as my rear speakers -- no sub). (as you can see I am working with budget equipment I have acquired along the way, with the idea that I will continue to upgrade as my financial situation changes -- have thus far been a professional student all of my adult life). Thanks in advance!
