Thanks for the idea. The problem that I run into for the take home and listen to them is that the place where I am at now is not going to be a long term location so one may sound great in my temp. location but will sound bad in the next place. I have B&W 602s right now that I plan to move to the rear once I figure out which speakers to buy. and I agree that the B&W are very nice. I was hopeing to get the 803 Matrix but they are no longer being shipped now.

BTW: Which B&Ws did you get?

My search goes on.. Thanks again!

: : I'm looking at the Mirage OM-8s or the B&W CDM7se and Ive listened to them both tonight. The OM-8s seem to have fuller sound from low to highs. the CDM7se seemed to me to have good mids to highs with the lack of the lows like the OM-8s.

: : Just wanted to get anyone elses good or bad stories about these speakers that may help me decide.. Thanks

: I had a similar problem when I had to choose from B&W and Paradigm. The B&W had great mids and highs, but seemed to lack some bottom. I decided to take them home and do an A&B test. The two speakers sounded TOTALLY different in my family room. The B&W now sounded Great with a nice TIGHT bottom! and the Paradigms sounded too boomy. The lesson here is, DO NOT decide until you take them into your listening enviorment and test them with everything you got!
: BTW I LOVE my B&W's (which matches nicelly with my Mirage sub)
: Good Luck!
