I have had problems with the Rock Solid sub. The crossover seems to be set too high. In systems where the sub may be located in the back of the room there is some localization of some vocals. This is bad. It draws your attention behind you instead of to the movie you are watching. I have substituted the Definitive Tech. Prosub instead and have been very pleased. I am really a fan of their powerfield 12. I have found few systems that the PF12 did not work great with. You would be cheating yourself if you didn't give it a listen!
