Ignore both of them. Kenwood has enough trouble trying to make decent electronics and Cerwin-Vega has had a bad history producing anything near audiophille quality. I'd recommend looking at netmarket.com or shop4.com. Here you can find some good subs for little cash. The AR S12HO lists right around $300 and is a fantastic subwoofer. It competes with subs in the $600-800 range easily.-SiliGoose : I just got into the DD world, and am now looking for a powered subwoofer. I have a $300 spending limit, and I heard that people are raving about the Kenwood 103/1050SW. I just wanted to know how the bass would compare to that of Cerwin Vega's HT-S10/12. I like deep bass, and both are relatively in the same price range. Any comment/suggestions please e-mail me.
