Subwoofer location/settings

No, I don't think you can drive the ACI from both high-level and low-level signals at the same time, unless of course you rig up a switch between the two, which would then mean you've simply got a choice of one or the other.

I think what you need to do is Y-Split the sub-woofer output of your Dolby Digital receiver, sending one half directly to the ACI and the other half to your transducers. Inserting a high-cut filter into that line would then reduce the frequency range and eliminate the problems you're having with music. I have a feeling ACI can supply suitable filters (ask Mike), if they can't then there are suitable boxes from M&K and Paradigm.
