Which sub?

Using Mozilla/4.05 [en] (Win95; I):

Hi,

I'm going to get a sub this weekend and the only 2 models in-stock right now and affordable for me are Paradigm PDR-12 and Sound Dynamics RTS-1000 (formerly THS-2000 and equivalent to Energy ES-10). Which one of the two is a better sub? I'm staying in an apartment and going to use it for HT most of the time. I can't do an AB comparison as they are from different dealers. Thanks for your help.
