Paradigm?

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; MSN 2.5; Windows 98):

I am building my first HT system and currently looking at powered subs. In the price range how is the Paradigm PDR-10? I was impressed by the sound and the price ($300 USD). I also noticed a JBL powered sub sold at Best Buy for about the same price. I am leaning towards the Paradigm but are there any other brands in this price range to consider. Also, if anyone has the Paradigm please let me know how you like it.
