I just saw a thread the other day over at Digital Theater mentioning the very difficult load the Stratus series presents. Apparently some highly variable impedances dropping to as low as 2 ohms. They said this was not the case with the Century series. If you don't play loud you may be ok, but if HK themselves say nothing but 8 ohms, I'd be careful. Perhaps your dealer who is so confident will let you bring in your HK and let you try to fry it. (and put up a Denon 5700 as collateral ;-)
