VCR/Subwoofer safe distance

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 95):

Does anyone know the minimum safe distance between A VCR and a subwoofer (Paradigm PW-2200). I almost put the VCR on top of the sub, then realized that might not be a good idea.
