Need help setting up ES8 Sub.

Using Mozilla/4.06 [en] (WinNT; I):

I am trying to set up an Energy ES8 sub, and am confused on which Hi-level or Low level input to use. To start with I quite don't understand either of them. I looked at the diag. in the manual, but they don't say which one is a better connection. I am using a SONY STRDA50ES receiver to power the sub.

Any help is appreciated.
