Dipole/Bipole speaker placement for DD/DPL

I would suggest you return your surrounds to their original position directly to the side of the listening position. Use the dipole setting for DPL and try either the bipole or dipole setting for DD. Some people prefer the bipole setting for DD for better placement of stereo surround effects, others still prefer the difffuse dipole setting for DD.

Try and see what you may find. Dolby recommends placements of surrounds to the side of the listening position, specifically NOT behind the listening position.
