The Diamond 7.1 was not shielded and did have heathy sized magnets for the drivers. The midrange was not as smooth as the Mission 731i's I had at the same time, which were so similar in design that someone was clearly copying someone's design! The only positive aspect of the Wharfedale was the robust bass which surpasses what one expects from a smallish system.

Truthfully I wanted to like the Diamonds, but it did not happen. I finally sold them on eBay at a big loss.
