Indeed I have never heard an ACI speaker I didn't like. I have also listened to the NHT 2.5 here at home and one more to throw into the ring - the Joseph Audio RM7Si Signature, an excellent performer as well.

Sadly where I live we don't have any good high-end dealers to speak of, and those that carry decent brands are limited. I feel like if I am insulting anyone in my area (Fort Wayne, Indiana) - take a hint guys!!!

Anyway I feel you hit the nail on the head - you will be happy either way as you are really in a win-win situation!
