Bose 901 for HT

The Bose 901s will work, but I believe you will find the CLR2000 and BP2X's quite a bit brighter and more efficient (meaning you will have a power shortcoming for you L/R mains).

I say try it, and if you don't like the results - invest in BP-8b's if you don't want a built in sub - or BP-2002/2004s if you want some sub with your towers.

Speaking of subs, what is you budget for one? I'd place a post just for subwoofer recommendations to get a good feel.
