If you are looking for a unpowered subwoofer, I would recommend The Large subwoofer kit from VMPS Audio. You can put it together in about two and half hours, and it will give you a nice 6.2 cu ft lowboy cabinet. There are different options available for the choice of drivers, you can find them at www.vmpsaudio.com, I have two of these, and there you can read it's specs, and those are honest specs not just commercial gimmics! But,if you are looking for powered sub, that's another story, I can not advice you there.
