ASW1000 feet

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 4.01; Windows 98):

I have a problem with the feet of the B&W ASW1000 subwoofer. When the subwoofer works, the feet make a cracking noise. How is it possible to remove the feet, since they are shaped as cones. Are they screwed into the cabinet or pushed ?
