You can join netmarket for $1.00, one month trial membership, but you have to remember to cancel it, it's one of those automatic sign-up deals. I think it's $35.00 a year. One nice thing is that they do give you "netmarket cash" for every purchase which can be applied to future purchases. So if you stagger your orders, it takes a few days for the to credit your "cash" account, you can get the price down a bit further.

I really can't help you with your other questions, I'm pretty new to the high end audio scene, but I'm always glad to take business away from CC aka The Antichrist!
