Klipsch KSW12 - Opinions?

I auditioned the KSW12 at the Goodguys in my town. it sounded terrible....until I turned the volume on the sub down. then it sounded great.

Some bass-head (probably a Goodguys employee)cranked the volume up so high that it was overpowering the mains (KSF8.5) and distorting. When I adjusted the sub down, it was fantastic. For the price I do not think it can be beat.

Always listen to speakers and electronics with music that you are familiar with! happy subbin'
