The RT 55's are more than enough speaker to handle the large setting.

You will have to play around with the settings to see what you like. I have the RT 800s for my fronts and use the small setting on my 50ES receiver. I have blended the speakers to work weel on the small setting with my sub. It will be a matter of preference and setup.
