Mike,I recently had a chance to audition some Martin Logan Aurius i, paired with a Sunfire TrueSub. This combination sounded very nice. I've heard that many subwoofers cannot keep up with the speed(not sure if this is the correct term) of electrostatics. The True Sub was able to keep up with the Aurius quite nicely. Listened to a wide variety of music from rock/pop, classical, to home theatre tracks. Dynamics certainly did not appear to be lacking at any time, and the overal sound stage presented by the Martin Logans was beautiful. However, I highly advise auditioning the setup before purchase. Many dealers will allow you to audition speakers in your home, which I highly recommend, as acoustics vary from room to room. The opinions of others make a good starting point, but speakers are a very subjective issue. Bottom line, buy what sounds best to you. Mark
