I am not sure, but these sound like one of those scam speakers, sold in vans. If they are, it is definetly not worth it, but do a search on the internet for them. my friend gave my JVC speakers, SCAM, the back said Japan Vicor company, not victor, and said retail price of 400 each, but in fact they were sold out of a van and very very bad(the foam was gone to) same type--2 tweeters on top, supposedly ribbon tweeters, but actually cone tweeters behind cloth, then a mid under the tweets, and l pad. I would say invest in a good pair of speakers.
