Speakers to match with Yamaha DSP A1

Using Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.0; Windows 98; DigExt):

I am rather new to the world of HT and looking for some help with a few desicions. My area of the world lacks the many retail audio stores of major cities, thus making it more difficult to audition the many alternatives.

I have made the decision to purchase the Yamaha DSP A1 for my main control system. Please post any recommendations for a 6 speaker set up to match this unit.

I listen to about 50% HT & 50% music.
My room measures 15.5'W x 17'D x 9'H and is carpeted.
I listen to a wide range of music and love the highs as well as the lows.
My budget is around $3000 for all 6 speakers.
