Depends on what you want out of a subwoofer. The HSUs can play lower much louder than the Titan. But the Titan is a much better looking sub, real furniture quality cabinet. There is an in-depth review of the Titan over at SoundStage! (see http://www.soundstage.com/entry11.htm). Also get your hands on a copy of the August 1998 issue of Audio for a review of the HSU TN1220HO sub. Both are available for in-home trial.
